ENO* had a rough childhood. He’d been diagnosed with PTSD, and it made his life extremely difficult. Painful flashbacks and awful thoughts race through his mind, and he can’t shake them. Disturbing nightmares make sleep impossible, and he’s always exhausted. He never knows what will set off the next wave of panic – people, places, things, conversations, situations, smells, or sounds – so he tries to avoid them all.

It’s hard for him to trust himself or anyone else, which makes relationships strained. He wants to embrace life, but the world around him feels so scary and dangerous.

SELINA* has major FOMO (fear of missing out) on life because she’s trippin’ (worrying) so hard about everything.

She’s plagued by an endless string of hypothetical situations: What if my child gets hurt? What if I get in a car accident? What if I get fired from my job? Doing even the simplest tasks, like getting dressed in the morning, has become an exhausting, frustrating ordeal. At night, she lies in bed, replaying each interaction from the previous day, second-guessing every decision that brought her to this point.

She knows things can’t continue this way, but she simply can’t stop judging herself.

XAVIER* never feels like he’s good enough. He doesn’t take any credit for his accomplishments at work and always talks poorly about himself. The constant barrage of self-criticism is relentless: You’re not good enough! You’re ugly! You’re unlovable!

Relationships never last long since it’s hard to love someone who so desperately dislikes themselves. People have begun to avoid him because he’s always so negative and sad. He wants so badly to feel more confident and create lasting, fulfilling relationships, but it seems impossible. He wonders if there’s any way forward.

There is hope.

It’s time to make a choice. You can continue down the path you’re on and watch as things get worse and worse.

You can also take a leap of faith and decide to address this problem head-on with the help of a trained professional.

Welcome To

The Victory Centers

We specialize in helping people who’ve been through trauma, giving them room to grow, and helping them move beyond what’s holding them back.

In therapy, we’ll be partners in collaboration, figuring out ways to manage this whole mess (symptoms) while we dig deep to find the root (cause) of the problem.

Everyone’s journey is unique, so we offer a variety of approaches. EMDR therapy will help you process your wounds at the source permanently.

And, through CPT, you’ll learn to build resilience and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

The Victory Centers provides a supportive environment for individuals, couples, veterans, and active-duty military.

It’s time to embark on a journey to greater self-confidence and the life you’ve always wanted.

Eno

When Eno and I started therapy, he wanted to try EMDR. A friend experienced it and told him it helped a lot. Eno was having trouble getting along with people at work, didn’t have many friends, and couldn’t keep a girlfriend. He figured therapy was worth a shot, even though he wasn’t sure it would work.

At first, Eno was closed off during our sessions. After we started EMDR and talked about some things that had bothered him in the past, Eno said he was sleeping better. This made him feel more open to talking about bigger issues. After a while, Eno said he wasn’t getting so worked up about things that used to really stress him out. He’s even started making friends and says things are going better at work, too.

Selina

When Selina first came to therapy, she looked exhausted and could barely keep her eyes open. She also cried a lot during our first few sessions. As we talked about her worries and what was making her anxious, Selina learned some helpful skills to deal with them. These skills helped her handle things better and feel stronger overall.

Selina noticed she was starting to catch herself when she got stuck in negative thoughts and worries. This helped her feel more relaxed, and her whole family started feeling more relaxed, too! Her children, who used to be upset and cry a lot, are doing much better now. Selina even said they went to the beach for the first time as a family and had fun! She is no longer missing out on the things she wants to do. The best part? Selina doesn’t feel so drained all the time anymore, nor does she look it.

Xavier

When Xavier first started working with me, he was super negative about everything. He couldn’t see any good in anything at all. We talked a lot about how our thoughts affect how we feel about everything in life and how sometimes our negative thoughts might not be totally true.

Xavier decided to give it a try and see if he could be more positive with any new people he met. He noticed more positive responses toward him. Slowly, Xavier started questioning his negative thoughts and how he expected things to go. He’s not as negative in our sessions anymore, and he’s working on changing how he thinks about himself deep down. He’s even starting to avoid words that make him think negatively.

Xavier can tell things are changing, but he knows it takes time. It’s been a long time since he’s thought this way, but he’s really sticking with making these changes!

Don’t sweat it – tons of people overcome this stuff!

We helped Eno, Selina, and Xavier create better lives,
